We are happy to inform you of our ongoing intensive training programme for all untrained teachers here in Ghana. It is hoped that the further explanations given about this concept would be readily welcomed by all educational institutions as we try to contribute our quota to both district and national development. We have successfully imparted skills to most untrained teachers for the past years and as professionals, we carry out our duties with commitment and dedication.The Excel Teacher Training Programme, as it is called came in as a divine idea to satisfying the training needs of all untrained teachers in this country through perfect understanding of pedagogy, modern skills, knowledge and methodologies of teaching. It initially started out as just on-the-job training for unprofessional teachers but now has been upgraded to becoming an intensive all-round in-service training. The course is to be run over a period of 12 weeks (three months) with each week covering a vital set of topics under the chosen module. We have our own improved facilities at McCarthy Hill Junction to fully cater for the entire programme.The course is carefully designed to take care of all the vital elements in the teaching business and so it involves theory, practices and free handout to serve as further guides as they get on field. Due to this, the lecturers are personalities with unquestionable repute, education and experience over many years in pedagogy. We strongly recommend the programme for all teaching staff knowing that it will equip them with all needed knowledge and skill for effective teaching.
